Travelling to Cincinnati, the Boilermakers first faced Ohio State Club. It was great to finally get out onto a field for the first time this season. While Purdue was able to put together a few effective series on offense, lack of focus doomed the Boiler's to a humiliating loss. Purdue was out-hustled by the Buckeye's and failed to possess the ball effectively on the offensive end. Despite outstanding play in goal by Mike O'Neill the final score was 12 to 4 in favor of Ohio State Club.
